Villasha is a commercial and corporate litigator. Her focus lies in commercial disputes, fraud and asset recovery matters, and restructuring and insolvency work.

Her experience in commercial and corporate litigation includes acting for companies on contractual claims in arbitration proceedings and advising entities on shareholder disputes.

On fraud and asset recovery matters, she acts for a sovereign wealth fund and its subsidiaries in the international recovery of misappropriated funds stemming from a major financial scandal.

Villasha graduated with a First Class Honours from University College London. She completed her pupillage at LCWP and was retained as an associate thereafter.

  • Assisting counsel and the Government of Malaysia in an international arbitration dispute against a major financial institution regarding a complex financial controversy related to sovereign bond issuances.
  • Acting and advising an equity joint venture company in pursuing extensive legal claims against individuals and companies involved in unauthorised foreign worker importation schemes.
Restructuring And Insolvency
  • Assisted counsel in the scheme of arrangement of a global offshore marine group. The scheme was sanctioned by the court.
