13 February 2022 - The team from Lim Chee Wee Partnership acted for the Competition Commission of Malaysia (MyCC) in a series of competition law hearings before the Federal Court on 9 February 2022.

As covered by The Edge Malaysia, the Federal Court allowed an interim stay of a judicial review hearing sought by Grab Holdings Inc, along with GrabCar Sdn Bhd and MyTeksi Sdn Bhd against MyCC.

In another matter involving MyEG, the Federal Court upheld the RM9.64 million fine imposed on MyEG Commerce Sdn Bhd and MyEG Services Sdn Bhd by MyCC for violating competition law and having a dominant position in the market. Leave to appeal to the Federal Court was dismissed.

In the matter involving MAS and AirAsia, the Federal Court dismissed MyCC's leave to appeal to the Federal Court. This was against the Court of Appeal's decision reversing MyCC's decision to impose a RM10 million fine on MAS and AirAsia.
