27 July 2020 - The firm is acting as counsel for the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) in the judicial review proceedings filed by AirAsia Berhad (AA) and AirAsia X Bhd (AAX).

The judicial review applications by AAX and AA respectively will now be heard by the same High Court Judge (Datuk Seri Mariana Yahya).

AAX and AA were imposed a fine of RM 2 million each by MAVCOM for the airlines' continued charging of credit card, debit card and online banking processing fees separate from their base fares, in contravention of the Malaysian Aviation Consumer Protection Code 2016.

Dato' Lim Chee Wee, Kwan Will Sen and Muayyad Khairulmaini act for MAVCOM.
